Although it deviates from the established formula of the franchise, Saints Row IV should be a satisfying romp for fans of the genre. Luckily, there's a huge variety of wacky weapons and intense superpowers to help the Saints on this adventure to save the world. With the entire universe in danger following an alien invasion, the boss of the Third Street Saints must use his newfound powers to defeat them and save Steelport. Players once again explore Steelport as the leader of the Third Street Saints gang, but this time, the context is much more sinister. It's worth noting that the game has seen a number of updates and improvements since launch, so it might be in better shape than it was a few months ago.Saints Row IV is an open-world action game that bucks the series' roots and turns the absurdity dial to the max. While it might not have been the reboot most Saints Row fans were hoping to see, it definitely sounds like some might enjoy what it has to offer, in spite of its flaws. Reviewer Cade Onder called it "buggy and dated," but did praise the amount of content in the game, as well as its co-op play. When Saints Row released back in August 2022, 's official review gave the game a 3 out of 5. Readers should keep in mind that this offer is for the standard edition of Saints Row, and the offer does not appear on the page for the game's Gold Edition.
